Apple Cider Vinegar
There are a huge array of benefits that is linked to drinking Apple Cider Vinegar, from enhancing weight loss to lowering cholesterol, regulating your blood sugar levels to balancing your PH Levels.
The one reason I wanted to drink it was to improve my gut health. I have been battling with a stomach issue ever since April '17 and I will try anything to improve it!
I decided I would start with one tablespoon a day and dilute it with a cup of water. Honestly the taste was not the worst but by all means not easy to drink at all, although as the days went on it got surprisingly easier. I would drink it in the morning before anything else including my coffee. It automatically woke me up, due to the strength of the flavour. Aside from the sudden burst of energy I had from drinking this I also found great results just from one week of drinking ACV.
My skin for starters cleared up a lot, since living in London I have found my skin breaking out on a daily basis and being extremely dry to the point where I looked like a peeling chameleon. Although I knew that it helped your skin I honestly thought that this would be the benefit that would take the longest to surface. WRONG. My skin looked glowy, clear and fresh everyday and I found it easier to apply my make up in the morning and have it last until the evening. If you do not need to use Apple Cider Vinegar for anything else, I would suggest using it to improve your skin as it is also a great antioxidant.
In terms of my gut health I definitely saw an improvement! I found that I didn't have any bloating after eating, I could digest my food easier and I wasn't as uncomfortable after eating. Result! This amazing vinegar can kill any nasty bacteria in your stomach and replace it with good bacteria, which is the perfect probiotic for anyone struggling with an unhappy gut. The struggle I definitely have is my inability to absorb nutrients, although I cannot see this or know if I am now able to, I feel like my energy levels have vastly improved.
I have now decided to up my dose to two tablespoons a day to get the best results out of this amazing probiotic. Two massive thumbs up from me.
